Meet Our Instructors: Stacey Donovan

Stacey Donovan yogaStacey Donovan (RYS-200, Heartwood Yoga Institute 2024) is a Hatha and Vinyasa yoga teacher who first came to yoga in 2018 after years of running and spinning. Injuries led her to the mat, where she discovered yoga as a gentler, more sustainable way to support mind, body, and soul.

Originally beginning teacher training for personal growth, Stacey found a true love for sharing yoga with others. As a new teacher, her goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where students leave class feeling balanced, positive, and at ease.

Stacey’s classes weave together mindful breathing, stretching, gentle movement, and uplifting music. She loves the unique energy that comes from practicing in community and believes yoga is a powerful way to release stress, connect inward, and nurture overall well-being.

Her philosophy is simple: stay positive, listen to your body, and enjoy the journey. Stacey looks forward to continuing her growth as both a student and teacher of yoga while inspiring others to feel good in mind, body, and spirit.
